A fresh Associated Press census conducted by Ipsos Public Affairs found that just over one part of respondents had not read a book in the last year.

Women aged 18-44 were more likely to have read a book in the last year (80% to 73% overall), as well as upper profits households (87%) and those with a seminary level (also 87%).
